Watercolour Workshop with Elena Churilova
In this workshop, artist Elena Churilova will coach participants through her use of vibrant colours and free-flowing watercolour techniques. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels and will be a relaxed day of learning and sharing time with like-minded people. Participants are invited to bring their own reference photos to recreate in Churilova’s signature style.
About the artist:
Russian born Elena Churilova is an award-winning artist working with oils, pastels and watercolours. Her work is intuitive and inspired.
In 2006 Elena Churilova moved from Russia to Australia as a qualified professional. Inspired by the local scenery, she returned to her passion, painting in a range of mediums and techniques (oil, pastel, gouache and watercolour) in a style which combines reality and fantasy.
Elena is a member of the National Association for the Visual Arts. Her works reside in private collections in Europe, Australia, USA and Russia. Elena was the recent recipient of First Prize in the Works on Paper category of the Brigalow Arts Festival 2024 for her artwork Bathing the Horses.
