NAIDOC week is officially celebrated from the 8-15 November 2020.

Banana Shire Council is proud to support NAIDOC Week and we are excited to launch our colouring in competition for 2020 featuring two artworks by local artists Wayne Martin and Susan Cook.

This year’s competition is for primary school aged children only with two different categories of Prep-Grade 2 and Grades 3-6. Colouring in pages can be downloaded here or copies are available from any of our Customer Service Centres or Libraries.

Competition entries must be received by 5pm Friday 20 November and winners will be announced Monday 30 November via Council’s website, Facebook page and an email to schools.

Please note we are unable to accept electronic entries, however entries can be dropped off at any of Council’s Customer Service Centres or Libraries.

This year we have seven prize packages, so we can ensure we pick a winner from each year level. Prizes will be delivered to the respective schools for each of the winners for distribution. As per last year, entries will be returned to respective schools after judging to distribute back to students.
