AMENDMENT, ADOPTION, AND COMMENCEMENT OF BANANA SHIRE COUNCIL SUBORDINATE LOCAL LAW NO.8 (GATES AND GRIDS) 2011

Notice is hereby given in accordance with the Local Government Act 2009 that on 23 November 2022, the Banana Shire Council resolved to adopt the amended Banana Shire Council Subordinate Local Law No.8 (Gates and Grids) 2011, formally known as Banana Shire Council Subordinate Local Law No.3 (Gates and Grids) 2011.

The making of the provisions in this subordinate local law is authorised by Local Law No. 8 (Gates and Grids) 2011 (the authorising local law).

The purpose of this subordinate local law is to supplement Local Law No. 8 (Gates and Grids) 2011, which provides for the regulation of all gates and grids across public roads within the local government’s area.

A copy of Banana Shire Council Subordinate Local Law No.8 (Gates and Grids) 2011 is available for inspection and purchase at any Banana Shire Council customer service centre.
