Over the coming months, Banana Shire Council will be undertaking large scale maintenance cleaning of its water supply networks. The program uses air and water under pressure to clean the pipes. This work is being done as part of our on-going effort to deliver the safest and highest quality water possible to our customers.

Biloela, Callide Dam & Banana residents are advised that the contractor Clearflow will commence this work on Friday 10th May and will continue for approximately one (1) month.

Residents and business owners will be informed by pamphlet/door knock, advising them of the commencement of work in their specific area and requirements to refrain from use of water for a short period of time. Due to the intermittent nature of the works exact interruption times are difficult to predict.

We will work closely with the community to ensure the work is completed with a minimal amount of disruption to homes and businesses.
