Banana Shire Council invites the community to the opening of the Moura Museum and Library taking place on Tuesday, August 13th. Mayor Nev Ferrier, alongside Julieanne Gilbert, Queensland’s Assistant Minister for State Development, Infrastructure, Industrial Relations, and Racing, will be opening the new facility at 10 AM.

The community are invited to join in the celebrations that will mark a new chapter for Moura. The day will commence with a ceremonial ribbon cutting by the dignitaries, followed by the first official walk through of the newly established facilities.

Event attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments, participate in a walk through, and explore the museum and library's unique exhibits and resources.
