Scope of Lease:

Banana Shire Council has 1.14 hectares of farmland available for lease at Lot 16 SP256193, Burnett Highway, Thangool.

This farmland lease is made available on the basis that the lessee must use this land for grazing of stock only. No cropping is permitted.

This is a 30 year lease.

Description of Property

Currently zoned as Rural and falls within Agricultural Land under Council’s Planning Scheme 2021.

There is boundary fencing on this lease.

Clearing of any timber present on this property is not permitted unless approval is obtained from Council.

Maintenance of existing fences will be a responsibility of the successful lessee. Fences must be maintained to a standard to ensure stock are not able to leave the property.

The lessee must ensure the land is not overgrazed and grass cover must be present all year round to minimise soil erosion.

Weed control is also a responsibility of the lessee.

It will be the lessee’s responsibility to insure the property for a minimum of $20 million in public liability
