Clean Up after the Storm

Yesterday’s storm has resulted in a significant number of trees down across parts of Biloela. Council staff, together with many community members cleared roadways last night, thank you to those people who helped.

Council staff will focus on cleaning up the remaining branches in public areas.

To assist residents with clean-up efforts, Council has arranged a special green waste collection run for Biloela on Saturday 25 January and Tuesday 28 January. Residents are asked to bring green waste from downed trees and branches to the footpath in front of their property and a Council crew will collect the waste on one of these two days and take to the Waste Transfer Station. Please note, the collection run is for green waste only and general waste will not be collected.
