The boil water alert issued on Sunday 13th April 2025 has been lifted after consultation with the water supply regulator and Queensland Health.  Additional testing undertaken since Sunday has not revealed any microbiological contaminants within the drinking water network.  Council understands the frustration and anxiety an event like this can create within the community.  The health and safety of our communities is our number one priority and we have already implemented several controls to help prevent this type of event occurring again.
